Nodety Billing & Balance Policy
This document is incorporated into and subject to the Nodety Terms of Service at nodety.com/terms. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This Billing & Balance Policy governs the purchase and use of Balance and the billing of usage-based features within the Application. General payment terms (subscription fees, taxes, late payment) are set out in the Terms of Service.
2. Paid Features
2.1 Certain features within the Application require payment based on usage, including but not limited to rendering, batch processing, API and SDK calls, and mockup generation. Features requiring payment and their costs are displayed within the Application and at nodety.com/pricing.
2.2 Pricing. Cloud services (rendering, batch processing, API and SDK calls) are billed by the render-second, meaning the duration during which the engine is actively processing a request, measured per started second. Rates depend on the User's Plan and are displayed within the Application and at nodety.com/pricing.
2.3 Price Changes. Nodety may update usage pricing at any time. Price changes take effect thirty (30) days after notice is provided or the changes are posted at nodety.com/pricing, whichever is later. Price changes apply only to usage occurring after the change takes effect.
3. Balance
3.1 Usage Balance. Users may purchase Balance to access paid features. Balance is displayed in the User's Account currency within the Application. Usage costs are deducted from the Balance at the rates displayed within the Application at the time of use.
3.2 Purchasing Balance. Users may purchase Balance via the payment methods supported within the Application. All Balance purchases are final upon completion of payment. Users on Free Plans may purchase Balance up to the cumulative limit specified at nodety.com/pricing; to purchase beyond this limit, Users must subscribe to a paid Plan. Users on paid Plans may purchase Balance without limit. Minimum top-up amounts and available Balance packages are specified at nodety.com/pricing.
3.3 Welcome Bonus. New Users receive a one-time welcome bonus as specified at nodety.com/pricing, applied to the User's Balance and subject to the same terms as purchased Balance. The welcome bonus is limited to one per natural person or legal entity. Creating multiple Accounts to obtain additional welcome bonuses is prohibited and constitutes a Material Breach of the Terms of Service. If Nodety determines that a User has received multiple welcome bonuses through multiple Accounts, Nodety may (a) immediately terminate all associated Accounts without notice (or with such notice as required by mandatory applicable law), (b) restrict the User from creating new Accounts, (c) deduct improperly obtained welcome bonuses from the User's Balance, and (d) invoice the User for any usage that exceeded legitimate Balance entitlements.
3.4 Currency. Balance is denominated in the currency determined by Nodety at Account creation, which may be based on the User's location, payment method, or other factors at Nodety's discretion. The Account currency cannot be changed after creation. Prices at nodety.com/pricing are indicative; the Application displays exact amounts in the User's Account currency at the time of transaction.
3.5 Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable. Balance is non-transferable between Accounts, non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, and expires immediately upon Account termination, except as required by applicable law.
3.6 Insufficient Balance. If a User's Balance is insufficient to complete an action, the action will not be performed.
4. Balance Expiry
4.1 Balance expires twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase or, for welcome bonus Balance, twenty-four (24) months from Account creation. Where applicable law requires a longer validity period, such longer period applies.
4.2 Nodety may, but is not obligated to, send courtesy notifications before Balance expires. Failure to send such notifications does not extend Balance validity.
4.3 For region-specific Balance expiry rules (including Germany), see the Regional Terms at nodety.com/legal/regional-terms.
5. Auto-Reload
Users may enable automatic Balance purchases ("Auto-Reload") when their Balance falls below a threshold specified by the User. Auto-Reload is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by the User. Users may disable Auto-Reload at any time via Account settings. Auto-Reload purchases are subject to the same terms as manual Balance purchases.
6. Consumer Right of Cancellation and Balance Refunds
For consumers exercising their right of cancellation under applicable law, Balance that has been used prior to cancellation is non-refundable. Unused Balance purchased within the cancellation period may be refunded upon valid cancellation request, minus the value of any Balance already consumed. By purchasing Balance and using it before the cancellation period expires, the consumer acknowledges that the right of cancellation is lost to the extent the Balance has been used.
